Verse of the Day: Unless You’re Converted and Become Like Little Children–Matthew 18:2-4
“And He called a child to Himself and set him before them, and said, ‘Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like [little] children, you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever then humbles themselves as this child, he is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven” –Matthew 18:2-4.
Humility is one of the greatest (and most powerful) virtues we can possess this side of Heaven … and in the next. Reflect also on the other characteristics of a child: meek, submissive, dutiful, believing, etc. We are to take in Jesus’ teachings and the Word of God (Gospel) with childlike wonder and reverence. Jesus is crystal clear in this verse — there is no gray area.
[Read and mediate on this powerful (and incredibly important) verse today. Ask God to help you develop these necessary child-like qualities so He can more easily mold you into all you’re meant to become.]
