Psalm of the Day: On You I Wait All The Day–Psalm 25:5
“Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You IÂ wait all the day” –Psalm 25:5.
As you reflect on this psalm today, think of this: The psalmist is asking God for His Truth; not searching for his own. He is asking God to teach him the way, knowing full well that it is God Who is in charge of his life and ultimate eternal destiny. The psalmist concludes the verse with, ‘For You, [Lord], I wait all the day.” The psalmist vows to make no hasty decisions; to not act without God showing him the way first. He gives complete control to God.
This is surrender. A fully surrendered life is a life God can glorify and use for His ultimate glory — on earth and in Heaven. Trust Him. Submit to Him. Offer it all to Him … and watch what He will do.
[Read and mediate on this psalm today. Praise God for all of Who He is.]
