Psalm of the Day: When All Seems to Fail, Who Is Your Rock? -Psalm 61:1-3
“Hear my cry, O God;
give heed to my prayer.
From the end of the earth, I call to You when my heart is faint.
Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I;
for You have been a refuge for me,
A tower of [mighty] strength against the enemy” –Psalm 61:1-3.
Having confidence in God’s protection is paramount to experiencing His life-saving power. If you are having difficulty today, if you feel like you need to be “rescued”, call out to Him in faithful prayer. Ask Him to bring you closer to Himself and to lift you upon the High Rock. Ultimately, God (and God alone) is your strength and Refuge.
[There is incredible power in reading the Psalms. Read and meditate on Psalm 61 throughout the day today. But, don’t just skim it over … believe it!]
