Verse of the Day: Every Good Action and Every Perfect Gift is from God–James 1:17
“Every good action and every perfect gift is from God. These good gifts come down from the Creator of the sun, moon, and stars, Who does not change like their shifting shadows” –James 1:17.
To recognize God as Lord is to regard Him as a Good Father. Ideally, a good father is the one in your life who provides for you and protects you. This is exactly Who God is and what He does for His children. He has provided for all your needs (Matt. 6:25-34); He protects you from all harm (Psalm 139:5); He has adopted you in to the (real) Royal Family (Eph. 1:5); and, He has given you His Name (1 John 3:1). He is, as this verse tells us, the giver of every good experience and of every of perfect gift received in life. God has certainly proven Himself as a faithful Father. Now it is up to us to be thankful, trusting, and obedient children.
