Verse of the Day: Hard Pressed on Every Side, but Not Crushed–2 Corinthians 4:8-9
“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed” -2 Corinthians 4:8-9.
The apostle Paul reminds us that with Christ, we have nothing to fear. You may feel hard pressed at times but, in Him, you will not be crushed. There will be times of feeling perplexed, but you won’t be lead into despair. When you’re (falsely) persecuted, you’re not alone — He’ll never abandon you. How about when you’re struck down? It may happen sometime, but you won’t be destroyed. In Christ, you’ve got the power. Today (and always), spend time strengthening your relationship with Him. When you are strong in Christ, everything else will fall into place.
