Show Me Your Ways, Lord, Teach Me Your Paths–Psalm 25:4-7

Show Me Your Ways, Lord, Teach Me Your Paths–Psalm 25:4-7

Show me Your ways, Lord,
    teach me Your paths.
Guide me in Your truth and teach me,
    for You are God my Savior,
    and my hope is in You all day long.
Remember, Lord, Your great mercy and love,
    for they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth
    and my rebellious ways;
according to Your love remember me,
    for You, Lord, are good.

Do you find yourself wishing you could take things back? Have you ever, like the psalmist, prayed to God for Him not to remember your old rebellious ways? God loves a repentant and contrite heart. If you’re even thinking along those lines, you’re on the right path. God loves us and He forgives us.

“Lord, thank You for forgiving my past transgressions. I hear Your words ‘now sin no more’ and that is what my heart desires. I ask that You show me Your ways and teach me Your paths. Keep me surrounded in Your truths, Your mercy and Your love. My hope is in You all day long. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.”

[Read and mediate on this psalm today. Take comfort in knowing the Lord remembers your past no more.]
