12 Most Powerful Psalm Verses to Meditate on for a Breakthrough

Are you in need of a breakthrough in some area of your life? Perhaps it is in regards to finances, relationships, a vocation, or otherwise. Regardless of which area it pertains to, God wants only the best for you; His storehouse no doubt abundant with with good things for His children. Psalm 37:4 states in fact that ‘if we delight ourselves in the Lord, He [God] will give us the desires of our hearts.’

It is wise to recognize that while God wants what is best for you, He cares most about your salvation. Before He will give you the desires of your heart (your breakthrough), the Lord will be sure that your request aligns with the best path forward toward salvation. Additionally, God wants us to be walking in uprightness, i.e. following His Word, commands and precepts. If we are not, then before approaching the throne of grace asking for what we want we must first perform an examination of conscience, ask God to forgive us our sins and for the grace to better follow Him according to His will. Once we have done that, let us hesitate not in asking for that breakthrough!

It is worth mentioning also that while God desires what is best for you, He knows what is actually best for you. Trust in this. Show God you really do trust in Him by repeating after each psalm meditation“Thy will be done.” Whether God answers your prayer or not, you can be sure that He, knowing all things from the beginning to the end, knows what is truly best for you, your life, and the greater salvific mission.
