Regardless of which area it pertains to, God wants only the best for you; His storehouse no doubt abundant with with good things for His children. Psalm 37:4 states in fact that ‘if we delight ourselves in the Lord, He [God] will give us the desires of our hearts.’

It is wise to recognize that while God wants what is best for you, He cares most about your salvation. Additionally, God wants us to be walking in uprightness, i.e. following His Word, commands and precepts. If we are not, then before approaching the throne of grace asking for what we want we must first perform an examination of conscience, ask God to forgive us our sins and for the grace to better follow Him according to His will. Once we have done that, let us hesitate not in asking for that breakthrough!
