10 Psalms To Remind You of God’s Faithfulness
As a former United States Marine, the word faithful resonates with me in a deep and visceral way. Marines spend hours learning the history and deeds of our predecessors. In fact, our motto exhorts that we will carry on the tradition and uphold the honor and name we work so hard to earn. We know that if others have been so courageous and brave, we can too.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been studying the book of 2 Thessalonians. Chapter 3 verse 3 reads: “But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.” The Lord is indeed faithful. While many things in this world will fail us — economies, leaders, employers, sports teams, friends and family — God will not. He will always be faithful.
As you go about your day today, allow these passages from the Book of Psalms to lift your Spirits — to assure you that He is always with you. You can (and should!) believe in His promises for He is forever loyal.

As you read through this list of promises, remember that the authors of the Psalms faced the same (if not worse) trials and persecution we face today. Disease, injustice, betrayal, famine, natural disasters, political and social unrest, etc plagued their lands. Many of us today are going through some of the most uncertain times we’ve ever faced. But here’s the Good News: Through Christ, we’ve got an unfailing anecdote for every life circumstance! When your days feel unsure and overwhelming, when there seems to be nothing on earth you can rely on, turn your eyes to God. He is always faithful.
Prayerfully meditate on these powerful and divine Words every time you’re feeling uncertain. And, remember: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will never pass away” –Jesus Christ; Matthew 24:35.
