Kindness Reaps the Lord’s Blessing – Psalm 104:13

He waters the mountains from His upper chambers;
    the land is satisfied by the fruit of His work.

We all know the concept of ‘paying it forward.’ We do a kind act for someone and, in return, they pass that kindness on to another unsuspecting person … and so it continues. Kind act after kind act has the power to spread goodness to people all over the world. In fact, this is the “fruit of the Spirit” described in the Bible. What we do with our time and resources here, in the Name of God, produces lasting effects: “the land is satisfied by the fruit of His work.” And while we may not “see” the fruit of kindness right away, rest assured that God sees and knows all things. He knows how to perfectly manifest the harvest in the lives of the charitable. So today, be encouraged to go out and do something kind for someone. When you do, prepare for God to pour out His blessing on you from the upper chambers of Heaven.

“God, we are blessed by the kindness that You freely shower on the faithful. You take care of all Your creation, and You can never be ‘out given.’ Let us all be at peace today knowing that You will take care of us; that You will bless all the generous in heart and soul.”
