Wherever you are in life, whatever you are going through, it is possible to feel the goodness of the God who loves you. Even if you can’t see the story He has written for your life unfolding in the way you would like, it is important to believe still that God is always good. The mysteries and unexpected turns that He has intertwined in your story are not always for you to know. We walk by faith, not by perfect sight or understanding.

Teaching ourselves to claim victory over sin and speak truth over lies takes practice, patience and prayer. Reading and meditating on the Word of God will give you deeper understanding and insights into your life and the world around you. And be grateful for whatever the Lord reveals to you. His divine knowledge will equip you with the spiritual tools necessary for the journey ahead. It will also dress you in the armor of God, allowing you to take those unexpected turns with confidence and ease. No matter what things look like today, trust in God’s goodness.

Lord, please help us to better utilize Your Word; to train our thoughts to become like Yours. Remind us that You are not far way; that You are near to us, living, and active. We praise You for Your goodness, and we thank You for loving us unconditionally. Show us the way. All our trust is in You.
