Within Your Temple, O God, We Meditate on Your Unfailing Love–Psalm 48:8-10

Within Your Temple, O God, we meditate on Your unfailing love.

⁸ As we have heard,
    so we have seen
in the city of the Lord Almighty,
    in the city of our God:
God makes her secure
    forever.

⁹ Within Your temple, O God,
    we meditate on Your unfailing love.
¹⁰ Like Your Name, O God,
    Your praise reaches to the ends of the earth;
    Your right hand is filled with righteousness.

When we abide in the Lord Almighty, one thing is for certain: He will make all things secure (v 8). His ways are flawless, blameless, and more often than not, far beyond our limited comprehension. We won’t understand every circumstance along our journey. But, we were never called to understand all things. We were (and always will be) called to have faith – in Him and His ways (Isaiah 55:8-9) – whether we “understand” or not. As you spend time with your Heavenly Father today, meditate on His unfailing righteousness; His unfailing love for you (v 9-10).
