Psalm of the Day: Rest in the Lord and Wait Patiently–Psalm 37:7

Psalm of the Day: Rest in the Lord and Wait Patiently–Psalm 37:7

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes” –Psalm 37:7.

God only asks of us what is best for us. If He tells you to be patient and to be still, it is for your benefit. If He tells you not to fret when others succeed (in their seemingly wicked ways), it’s because He is up to something. And that something is for your greater good. In order for us to be successful, blessed in all our ways, we must take God at His Word. We must be obedient. One of the cardinal virtues is patience. Sometimes God will place us in a situation to test our patience and our faith. Today, pass your test. Always remember that when God commands something of you, it is for your ultimate glory.
