Verse of the Day: Well Done, My Good and Faithful Servant–Matthew 25:21
“His Master said to him, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your Master’s joy'” –Matthew 25:21.
The Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30) teaches that, even though we do not all each receive the same amount of gifts in life, we must make good use of what we are given by God. If we are to be true disciples, we cannot simply bide our time on earth and ignore the need to grow in many deeds and virtues — especially in service to others. When you are faithful with a little, God will bless you with a lot.
