Verse of the Day: God Has Blinded the Minds of Unbelievers
“And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The God of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the Light of the Gospel that displays the glory of Christ, Who is the [very] image of God” –2 Corinthians 4:3-4.
There is a reason it is called “the gift of faith.” Faith indeed is a gift – an eternal gift in the life of a believer. We read in the epistles that the ability to hear, understand and believe the Word of God has been veiled from the minds of unbelievers. They can not comprehend the Light of the Gospel — the life saving gift of Jesus Christ that is offered to them. As believers, it is our duty to share the Gospel with as many souls as possible. It is also our primary responsibility to guard and protect our own gift of faith every day by spending as much time with God as possible.
