The Lord Love’s Those Who Fear Him–Psalm 103:15-18
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear Him,
and His righteousness with their children’s children—
18 with those who keep His Covenant
and remember to obey His precepts.
God is love. The love He feels for His children is unfathomable. However, He will also not be mocked. His love is conditional. The psalmist points out that God loves all those who reverently fear Him, who keep His covenant, and those who obey His precepts. God takes this very seriously, and so should we. There is nothing better than receiving God’s love — and He loves you. Today, let’s do everything in our power to give Him the full obedience, honor and praise He so greatly deserves.
