Verse of the Day: Do Not Fear the Ruin of the Wicked–Proverbs 3:25-26
“Do not be afraid of sudden terror,
of the ruin of the wicked when it comes;
For the Lord will be your confidence,
and will keep your foot from the snare” –Proverbs 3:25-26.
All throughout Scripture we are exhorted not to fear. In this particular proverb, we are told not to fear the terror that accompanies the ruin of the wicked. Our Lord is a just God; He knows what is best. No matter what happens in life, we are told that God is our confidence through any and every situation. As you read and mediate on this verse, take comfort knowing that your God stands right beside you. Do not be afraid!
