Psalm for Meditation: God Rewards You According to What You Have Done–Psalm 62:11-12

“One thing God has spoken,
    two things I have heard:
‘Power belongs to You, God,
     and with You, Lord, is unfailing love’;
and, ‘You reward everyone
    according to what they have done'” –Psalm 62:11-12.

Two things God has spoken to the psalmist: 1) All power belongs to Him; and 2) He rewards all (either in this life or in the next) according to what we have done. God doesn’t miss anything; He knows everything. When we live for God and His Word, doing what we are called to do, His love and rewards will be given to us freely — His incredible power is on our side. No matter what is going on in your life today – even if it looks like the ‘good’ is losing and ‘evil’ is winning – keep doing good. Keep knocking and seeking and doing what God asks of you. In His perfect time, you will see the manifestation of His perfect greatness. Keep going!

Lord, thank You for Your unfailing love. Thank You for rewarding me with just what I need, exactly when I need it. While I wait for You, I will do all that You ask of me. I trust in You! In Your good and Holy Name I pray, Amen.
