“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope” –Romans 15:4.
It is impossible to follow Gods instruction or emulate our forefathers (those who’ve traveled this road before) if we don’t take the time to learn from them. Everything we need to know about navigating through life’s challenges was left in written form and Church tradition. As you mediate on the divine words of the apostle Paul (Romans 15:4), mediate also on Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Amen.
[Read and mediate on both of these verses throughout the day today. And, do not be anxious about anything — Trust His promise to you.]
