Verse of the Day: Obedience–Philippians 2:12-13

Philippians 2

“Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose” –Philippians 2:12-13 (A letter written by the Apostle Paul)

There’s no better day than today to begin ‘working out our own salvation.’ There is no better time to begin stretching our faith and trusting in Jesus Christ our Savior. Spend time with Him, obey His commands and His promptings in your life. Just as the Apostle Paul explains in his epistle, it is God Who works in us, giving us the desire to follow after Him, so that one day we will fulfill His ultimate purpose.

(Read and meditate on this verse today and every day)
