Verse of the Day

Verse of the Day: Ask What You Desire, and It Shall Be Done–John 15:7

Verse of the Day: Ask What You Desire, and It Shall Be Done–John 15:7

If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you” –John 15:7.

There is a powerful word in this verse that we so often tend to overlook: “if”. The “if” in this verse is the key to the blessing. IF we remain in God, living the way He asks of us and being faithful to His commands, and IF His Word (the Gospel) abides in our hearts and drives our actions, THEN we can ask whatever we wish and it will be done for us.

Receiving God’s best in our lives is not a given — it’s conditional. Living the incredible lives God has ordained for us depends solely on our obedience, love, loyalty and full surrender to Him. Today, reflect on ways you can be even more obedient to the promptings and requests of our Lord.
