Verse of the Day

Verse of the Day: If You are Trusted, So Shall You Be Given–Luke 16:10-11

Verse of the Day: If You are Trusted, So Shall You Be Given–Luke 16:10-11

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?” –Luke 16:10-11.

Such a simple and direct statement: Whoever can be trusted with little, will also be trusted with much. Have you thought about how well you are stewarding God’s gifts? Are you charitable with your finances? Are you grateful for your spouse? Do you make good and healthy decisions? All that we have now, all that we’ve been given in the past, and all that we will be given in the future comes from God. How we steward His good gifts today will determine what He entrusts us with tomorrow.

[Read and meditate on this verse. Think about how it speaks to you regarding your own stewardship. Ask God if there are any areas you need improvement, and ask Him to help you. Listen closely for His reply — it’s for your benefit]
