“No trial has come to you but what is human. God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trial He will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it.”

This incredible proclamation attests to the sanctifying grace at work within us. The Lord will always remain faithful in His commitment to help us avoid sin and grow in sanctity. Therefore, rest assured that God will not permit any temptation in our lives that goes beyond our will-power. If we do fall into sin, it is because we were not faithful. But through God’s grace, we will endure until the end.

“Our Lord and our Savior, thank You for Your grace and mercy at work in our lives. Thank you for our free-will, and for not allowing any temptations along our path that are beyond our strength. Help us to continue fighting the good fight of faith; steadfast in our journey forward — not looking to the right or to the left, nor behind to our past. Keep our eyes fixed firmly on You, Lord. It is there we find rest for our souls. In Your good and holy Name we pray and we praise. Amen.”
